Every year, around this time, I have the same doubts. I have hundreds of ideas for recipes to share on the blog, but in the end, I post very little or next to nothing. Since December is a strange month and I have more time off, I dedicate some of this time to decorate my house, have some hot chocolate and see people who spend most of the year away and come home for Christmas. Since this year we’ll be spending a few days away, on a cozy treehouse, I decided I would post a little earlier. On this occasion, a delicious and very easy to prepare Christmas punch.
Last year I suggested this Redcurrant Nude Cake, another very simple recipe because here in Spain we spend most of the time celebrating with the family and cooking. Here, apart from Christmas Eve, we also celebrate New Year’s Eve, the New Year and the Wise Kings (6 January).
Many of you who read this live in the United States and I know that there Christmas is not as long as it is here, but anyway, you should really try this cold punch. It’s delicious and it won’t take you more than five minutes. On this occasion, I have used a new cider I’ve discovered recently at Gadis Supermercados. I was intrigued by its peculiar name “Ladrón de Manzanas” (Apple Thief), but when I tried it, back home, I absolutely loved it.
I hope you like it and…Merry Christmas!
